3 March Blog: my week in the news

Everyone is very worried about Coronavirus now. At my school, all activities have been cancelled, but I'm happy at least there is still school to go to as I heard in some countries schools have been closed completely. I was really looking forward to our Year 3 camp later in March so I'm disappointed this has been cancelled. I really hope Coronavirus goes away soon! 

My favourite story of this week was about Greta meeting Malala, I really like the photo of them sitting on the bench. I'd love to meet them one day.

I also really enjoyed our book review of A Star Outside My Window. We met Onjali Rauf at the Emirates Literature Festival recently and she talked about how she found the book hard to write. Zara and I both really enjoyed it, I actually preferred it to The Boy at the Back of the Class as it has more of an adventure. And although it's very sad and about the topic of domestic violence, Onjali makes it fun and interesting to read. I can't wait to read her third book!
