27 January 2022 Blog: my week in the news

Hi, it's Rose here. I enjoyed finding about the transplant story this week - that a pig heart has been given to a human being for the first time. It's amazing what science can do nowadays. I'm glad the man was given a chance of surviving, otherwise he would very likely have died. I don't think I would like the feel of a pig's heart in my body, however.

I really liked Burns Night at school this week - I loved trying Scottish Dancing and really hope we can do it again soon. I quite liked Haggis too! Although I didn't really like the sound of what was inside it :(

The Flying Car story was cool too, I really hope we get to have flying cars for real in my lifetime. It would avoid so much traffic!
