16 June 2022 Blog: my week in the news

I thought this week's story about Amazon delivering its parcels by drone was a bit crazy! I can't understand how it will work in practice and how parcels will be delivered without being damaged. As Laurie said, I really hope customers don't choose anything that might break! I would also worry about something going wrong with the drone navigation and maybe it crashing into someone, or something. That could be really dangerous. I'm not sure I want to walk around in the future with drones flying around in the street. And what about the delivery people who won't have jobs any more? That's a shame.

It was interesting though learning about the other stories, the origins of Fathers Day, and the history of Falklands War. Although the news can definitely be upsetting sometimes, I do find it interesting to hear about different things going on in the world.
