15 February 2021 Blog: my week in the news

There were a few surprises this week. The WHO investigators concluded that it was “extremely unlikely” that the coronavirus leaked from a lab in Wuhan which is what everyone suspected because the Wuhan Institute of Virology is one of the few laboratories in the world that specialises in investigating coronaviruses in bats! In other news, Donald Trump has been found to be not guilty at the impeachment trial despite calling protesters ‘patriots’. Maybe children should be in charge of these decisions!

I enjoyed learning about Internet Safety Day. It is important that we all use reliable sources on the internet. You can be sure that Newzkidz is a reliable website as our sources are very reliable and all of our content is carefully checked by adults (our parents!).

Finally, the new HOPE probe has captured pictures of Mars' atmosphere and landscape. This must have been one of the greatest achievements for the UAE. Congratulations to the UAE!
