Hi everyone! Welcome back to NewzKidz after the long summer break. I hope you all had a good summer – I definitely did and I enjoyed the cooler weather of England.

This month’s stories were a real mix. It was sad to start our podcast with the news of Morocco’s earthquake. It must have been devastating to be asleep and wake up to tremors and buildings collapsing.

I enjoyed seeing the Barbie movie with Zara over the summer and I thought it was really good. The messages throughout the movie about girls and women were really important but it was such a fun movie too!

I am looking forward to listening to Rose’s review of “Wonder” and I have it on my list of books to read. It was also good to hear about Roald Dahl day – he is one of my favourite authors!
