There's been a lot of big news stories this month! First there was Boris Johnson's resignation as a Member of Parliament, which was all over the British newspapers. Then we had sadder stories like the sinking of a boat carrying a large number of refugees in the Mediterranean Sea. It's even more sad that this seems to happen fairly often, although this boat was larger than many, with up to 750 people on board. It was quite extreme though that the newspapers gave much more coverage to the Titan Submersible disaster which saw the loss of 5 people. I followed the media reports as they were searching for it but it was still a shock when the rescuers realised nothing could be done. I hope our next podcast has happier stories! I enjoyed listening to Aiza's review of the Lottie Brooks stories and look forward to reading them.
