3 November 2021 Blog: my week in the news

This week I learnt a lot about climate change and about COP 26. It’s been quite interesting reading about COP 26. I do hope that this conference has actual results. It is a shame that the Queen could not attend in person, but I really liked her video message where she said that many people hoped that the “time for words has now moved to the time for action”.   It’s exactly what I’ve been thinking because I feel like we are always just talking about climate change – I suppose talking is important though because only then can we decide to act.

I was quite worried hearing that the Queen was advised to take some rest for 2 weeks – I hope she is ok.

I am sure that plenty of children have been devastated by the outage of Roblox over the weekend, like my sister. I am quite surprised that so many people are so addicted to this game that they cannot survive an outage for three days - I really can’t see the attraction.
