3 May 2021 Blog: my week in the news

Hello everyone! This is my first blog for NewzKidz. My name is Laurie and I am 7 years old. I was excited to do the introduction to the podcast this week for the first time, and to talk about the pink supermoon. It is a bit funny that it is not actually pink, however! Even though it does still look a bit pink in some of the photographs i have seen. We had two space stories this week, the second was about space junk which Rose talked about. It seems crazy there is rubbish floating around in space and it's quite worrying for astronauts at the International Space Station as they came quite close to being hit by flying space junk!

It was interesting to hear Zara's review of The Night Bus Hero. My sister has read all of Onjali Rauf books but I know she preferred The Boy at the Back of the Class. I haven't read it yet, I'm a bit too young, but I'm looking forward to reading them next year. At the moment I'm reading Roald Dahl's book The Enormous Crocodile, I've read it before but I love it so keep reading it again!
