27 October 2021 Blog: my week in the news

It was really shocking to hear about the accident that happened on a film set this week that resulted in the death of Halyna Hutchins. I feel so sorry for her family, she has a 9 year old son who is the same age as me, I can't imagine how he must be feeling right now. It is sad for Alec Baldwin too, the actor, who must be very upset as well by what happened.

I really enjoyed reviewing the book The Kid Who Came From Space, I love all the Ross Welford books and this one was brilliant! I read it in two days last weekend. I really recommend you read it too. I'm now reading The Lion Above The Door by Onjali Rauf, and look forward to reviewing this one too very soon!
