25 May 2020 Blog: my week in the news

There were lots of sad news stories this week! It was interesting to hear that in the UK some schools will be opening again from next week. I really miss my friends and my teacher and wish i could go back to school before September. I really hope I can go to the UK in the summer, it makes me really sad to think I may not be able to go back. But at least we are safe here in Dubai. I am very worried about the virus.

It was sad too to hear about Cyclone Amphan and that this caused so much devastation, I really hope people affected are ok and safe now. And it was sad too to find out more about Max and Keira's Law. It sounds like a positive law which is good but it was sad to learn that Keira had died. Organ donation is happy and sad because organs like hearts are given when someone dies which is sad, but then they may help another person to live, which is happy!

The monster kangaroo story wasn't sad though, that was funny.
