25 March 2022 Blog: my week in the news

Hi, it's Laurie here. This week my story was about the discovery of new sites at the Pyramids in Egypt. I think it's amazing to think of things being discovered that are 4,000 years old! I try to imagine what life was like back then. And what the Ancient Egyptians would think if they saw our life today.

The plane crash was really sad news and does make me worried about flying on a plane. Although my sister told me that plane travel is safer than any other kind of public transport. I do prefer the train though, because you can look out of the window and walk around, and it's not as bumpy.

We are taking a break from NewzKidz for the Spring holidays but will be back at the end of April. See you all soon!
