21 September 2020 Blog: my week in the news

This week we have covered some very interesting news stories. The UK may be breaking international laws and there have been signs of life on Venus. The UK story was very complicated and I hope you all understood it. This is one of the first news topics about Brexit in a long time. Most of the stories have been about the coronavirus pandemic (which is unfortunately still continuing). On the 31st of January the UK had officially left the EU and had entered a transition period. During that time, the two sides discussed how some things will work, like how trading will happen. Now, we are all waiting for the new year to come so the transition period can end. Lets see if the EU and the UK can come to an agreement in time.

On Sunday 20th of September, the NewzKidz team made their first appearance together on Pearl FM with Magic Phil. If you remember, a bit more than a year ago, Rose and I had made our first appearance on the radio on DubaiEye, so we had some experience of being on the radio. We all had an amazing time in the studio of Pearl FM and ended up in a crumpled heap of laughter. Thank you Magic Phil for bringing us on your show!
