2 December 2022 Blog: my week in the news

This week I was very interested to read about the protests in China against the zero Covid policy. I was so surprised to learn that they still have lockdowns and have Covid restrictions. I am very relieved that we no longer have any and I now do not even have to wear a mask to school.

I enjoyed my piece about Harry Potter fans spending one billion hours listening on Audible. I love books but I have never used Audible. I enjoy reading my books. Maybe I should try and listen to a book on Audible and see what it’s like?

All the news around me at the moment is about the Qatar World Cup. There are so many people in Dubai at the moment and they have come for the World Cup and fly in to Qatar to see matches and then come back to Dubai. It’s very exciting to have the World Cup so near by.
