19th November Blog: my week in the news

All of the news stories this week were really interesting and I learnt lots of new things. I didn't know anything about the Berlin Wall, it is so weird to think how a city could be divided like that. It must have been amazing when the Wall came down and people were allowed to walk across to the other side. I also didn't know that Frozen 2 was about to be released which is super exciting! I can't wait to go and see it with Zara and we will share our review with you afterwards. 

I still worry a lot about climate change and it is really sad to hear about the floods in Venice, I saw the pictures of how deep the water is which must be so damaging for the lovely buildings and people there. I really hope we can solve climate change soon and stop these things happening. Maybe, if people can't live on Earth any more because of climate change, we can all move to Mars? That would be craaaazzzzy. Scientists are working hard to find out if there might be life there, and to understand how Mars is different from Earth. The oxygen mystery is a weird one, I hope they solve it soon!

And of course Anti-Bullying week is super important. At my school we called it Friendship Week. My dad always says the most important thing in the world is to be kind. I'm glad the week raises awareness of the problem of bullying. I think every week should be Friendship week, not just one week a year.
